INERTIA is LITE® flywheel platform to exercise against resistance generated by the inertia and kinetic energy of a spinning flywheel. INERTIA is composed of a rotational shaft, to which both a rope and a flywheel are attached.
Once the rope is unrolled from the rotational shaft with a concentric activity the inertia and kinetic energy of the spinning flywheel connected to the shaft induced the rope to roll up in the opposite direction requiring the athlete to perform an eccentric action to decelerate the rope and begin a new exercise cycle. If the rope is decelerated in a shorter time than how it is accelerated, muscles can be overloaded eccentric to induce higher training stimuli.
INERTIA resistance increases with the exercise speed and therefore can be modulated during each rep and accommodate to increased fatigue.
INERTIA is the perfect solution to perform sport specific movement that involve high decelerations forces.
KEY FEATURES
- Speed-Dependent Variable Resistance: With the same inertia, the resistance varies with the speed of the exercise: the faster you pull, the greater is the resistance. Additionally during the eccentric phase, INERTIA returns the same energy that you apply during the concentric phase. Therefore, if the time applied to decelerate the exercise is shorted than the time applied to accelerate it, you can produce an eccentric overload
2. Integrated quick change resistance system without adding or removing flywheels.
3. Rope regulation system to quickly set up the rope length according to the range of motion of each exercise
4. Optimized design to perform exercises above and outside the platform.
5. Cylindrical shaft instead of conical, which allows you to generate greater overload during the eccentric phase of the exercise.
6. Possibility to combine the wall guide for exercises with a open kinetic chain.
7. Resistance can vary according to exercise speed. At the same exercise speed, you can significantly change resistance with LITE patented system without adding or removing flywheels by just sliding the colored sleeve over the shaft.

3. Confirm Your Eligibility
You will be prompted to complete a brief telehealth consult to confirm your eligibility to pay with HSA/FSA.
4. Enter Your HSA/FSA Card Details to Save Instantly!
From there, pay securely — enter your HSA or FSA debit card details and complete your checkout as usual. If you don't have your HSA or FSA debit card handy, you can also complete the checkout with a regular credit or debit card.
A licensed provider will review your consultation, and within 2 hours of your purchase, Flex will email you both a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) as well as an itemized receipt. Keep these documents for your records should your HSA/FSA provider or the IRS require additional documentation.
